Even though First Friday was cancelled due to the rain, the Bay did not let that stop them from coming out to one of the hottest Grand Openings that Oakland has seen in awhile. Dope Era started off with T-shirts and hoodies and now it offers various styles of jackets, stylish sweat suits for the ladies (cute) and men, hats, hoodie mini-dresses, black and gold Oakanda shirts, and so much more. The store is bright and very spacious. When you walk in, the first thing you will notice is the big DOPE ERA mural laying on the brick wall. On the opposite wall, Oakland ‘s historical street names are plastered and 45th and Market street sign is standing in the middle of the store. This is super dope! And, the cutest thing of it all, is Libby’s World (an area dedicated to his daughter) that is located in the back of the store. From the time he opened his doors until he said “good night”, it was jam packed from the front to the back. Congratulations FAB!
